Dtravel and TRVL now

Dtravel now describes itself as a peer-to-peer vacation-rental ecosystem built on the Nite Protocol. Dtravel Direct provides direct-booking infrastructure for property managers, while the Nite Protocol is intended to make vacation-rental listing data accessible across applications. These products are later developments and were not part of the short 2021 launch notice below.

Current official documentation lists three broad TRVL roles: staking, travel payments and governance. Dtravel’s token page distinguishes functions it labels active from those still in progress, so readers should not assume every proposed utility is already available. In February 2025, Dtravel also announced a booking discount for guests paying in TRVL on participating Dtravel-powered sites that accept crypto; availability can vary by operator.

Dtravel ($TRVL) shared an update on the community support received during its launch week. The launch events for TRVL — the token powering the Dtravel platform — were reported to have had over 60,000 participants across MEXC’s launchpad, Bybit’s launchpool, Gate’s Startup program and Polkastarter’s IDO.

The excitement from the community toward a shared vision of a community-led and community-owned home sharing economy has been incredible, and Dtravel can’t wait to start building the ecosystem.
